We visited Choccywoccydoodah in Brighton for the first time last week.

I don’t know what can I say about this place that will do it justice.  I’m going to have a good try though.

This wonderful place made it in to our Top Ten Brighton Picks and you will see why!

The pictures will do a far better job than I can, that’s for sure.   If you can imagine a chocolate aroma too, you will be almost there.

Choccywoccydoodah is an absolute must – with or without children.

This place just has to be seen to be believed.  Of course, we do have a Choccywoccydoodah here in London and I can say with much certainty that we will be making a visit there in the run up to Christmas.

Being October half-term last week, we had the benefit of the Halloween theme too.

Prepare to be amazed (and scared!).

And who knew there was a café inside too.

We do now!

Death by Chocolate – literally!

We were taken up the spooky stairway

Past the Secret Garden

Scared yet?  Don’t be – think of the chocolate!

And shown to our table (which was apparently a favourite).

No prizes for guessing what was on the menu.  Chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate!

The trick (and treat) is to go with a very empty stomach and not after a full English breakfast.

We almost managed a chocolate dipping sharing platter between the three of us.  Tiffin cake, chocolate cake, coconut cake, strawberries and marshmallows with a pot of milk chocolate for dipping.  It was just divine.

Along with a cup of Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate – check this out …………………………………

It was little wonder we needed to take advantage of the carry-out box that we were offered!

To be sat in this wonderfully decadent chocolate shop with so many grand and opulent designs around us was just like being on a film set.  It really was.

I can’t wait to see the Christmas displays and delights!  If Halloween is anything to go by, Christmas at Choccywoccydoodah will be spookectacular!!!!

Have you been?
